Carols at the Castle
Carols at the Castle is an open air carols event on the town’s iconic bandstand with complimentary hot chocolate and mince pies. Each year, over two thousand locals gather to celebrate the start of the Christmas season in a magical atmosphere.

This year's event is on Saturday 26th November at 4.30pm. Booking is essential - but all tickets are free.

The event is run by Love Clitheroe, a collective of local churches, charities and The Grand Venue. The event is free, as a gift to the town in the festive season. A live band will lead the carols with lights and special effects to create a magical night. We will be sharing a Christmas message to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

Several churches and The Grand are contributing towards the event. We are now looking for further support from individual donations to help make the event happen.

If you would like to volunteer at the event, either on the refreshments team or as a steward, please contact Naomi at St James Church.

Love Clitheroe also holds a town centre barbecue in June. Any donations not used by Carols At The Castle will be used for the Love Clitheroe Barbecue, when we bless our town with free burgers and a free fun day.
